HIV-AIDS is a serious issue in the society today. HIV + newborns and children are orphaned and abandoned at graveyards, railway stations, S.T. stands, garbage disposals, due to lack of awareness and misconception about HIV. ‘Prabha- Hira Pratishthan’ is striving for rehabilitate these children. The organization has undertaken the work to care, love and provide proper nutrition and medical facilities to these children. This special project is called ‘Palawi’( which means Foliage). The organization is working since 2003, 10 km from Pandharpur. It started off from a small iron shed now acquires its own place and in 2004 it shifted to new home. Couple of years ago I translated a poem by Mrs. Mangal Shah, sharing with you all 'a poem by a kid leaving with Aids' Hide and Seek with death Dear death, don’t think I am going away from you. 2012 कधी आले, गेले कळलेही नाही. मात्र एक सल खुपतो आहे तो आहेच. किती बदलले आहे सारे. कुठले सत्य आणि कुठले स्वप्न काहीच कळेनासे झाले आहे. किती माणसे गोठल्यासारखी झाली आहेत.  माझ्या अवतीभवती आई- बाबा-विठू  सगळ्यांचच  schedule बदललं आहे. पण आज प्रार्थना पूर्वक संकल्प करते. माझी तब्येत fine वरून best वर जाण्यासाठी मी प्रयत्न करेन. शक्यतो कुणालाही चुकुनही दुखावणार नाही. जिभेवर जी सरस्वती नाच करते तिला कागदावर उतरवेन . कारण कागदावरचे शब्द खोडता येतात तोंडातून गेलेले शब्द पुसून टाकता येत नाहीत, की मागे घेत येत नाहीत. मी 'नितळ' चित्रपटातलं एक गीतच संकल्प म्हणवून घेते. पानीसा निर्मल हो मेरा मन, धरतॆस अविचल हो मेरा मन , सुरजसा  तेजस हो मेरा मन, चंदासा शीतल हो मेरा मन, धुंदलाई  आंखे, भारमाया चित्त हैं  समझे ना मन को सत्य या असत्य हैं , चंचलता, मोग से दूर रहे , अपनेही द्रोहसे दूर रहे , करुणामय, निर्भय हो मेरा मन ... २०२३ अधिक सुंदर असावं . आरोग्यसम्पन्न असावं. माझ्याकडून चांगला लेखन घडावं . असणार .सगळं   काही चांगलं असणार . मी नव्या गोष्टी शिकणार, आणि खंडित प्रवाह
